Gabrovo Orphanage Number of Children: 48Ages: 7 - 18 Special Projects Available This orphanage is situated in the town of Gabrovo in the midst of the Balkan Mountains. It has a good relationship with the local YMCA which is trying to help with volunteers and activities. The YMCA and One Heart Bulgaria are funding new flooring for the study/TV room.  The director of this orphanage, Julieta Genova, is excited to work with One Heart Bulgaria and is open to opportunities and training which we want to provide for them. This orphanage has quite a good staff consisting of 1 director, 6 tutors, 1 psychotherapist, 1 nurse and 8 other individuals. There are two children here who have eye problems and need medical treatment. In addition, medical treatment is needed for a third child who is deaf and a fourth child who has a serious heart condition.Gabrovo Projects
